THE CALGARY RACING PIGEON CLUB IS PROUD TO HOST THE 2009 C.R.P.U CONVENTION AND RACE
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CANADIAN RACING PIGEON UNION ON THEIR 80TH ANNIVERSARY
We invite everyone with International Federation recognized rings to participate in the race. The race will be a multi loft race held on Saturday October 10th, 2009, 400 km weather permitting.
Entry fee will be $75/bird of which $10 will go to the Ladies Auxiliary
Capital prize money will be split 50/50 between handler/breeder. 10% of birds entered will receive prize money.
Progressive pooling will be 10 – 1 starting at 1,2,5,10,20 & $50
15 % of entry fees will be retained by the club 10% of all pools and loft auctions will be kept by the Club
10% of the birds entered in the race will be auctioned on the Sunday
Breeders may designate 50% of the birds 1 per loft, however cannot designate which bird. All birds will be distributed on a draw basis. Handlers may enter birds, subject to the availability of perches, however, are not allowed to handle their own birds.
Birds will be received April 18 – May 9, 2009. Make cheques payable to the Calgary 2009 Convention Race. Birds are to be sent to the Calgary International Airport c/o Nassir Faqiryar
